Quality Assurance and Quality Control

People at a orange plantage Our company offers several solutions to help you assuring and controlling the quality of your product along the whole value chain.

Beginning with the analysis of the raw materials over the pre-delivery check of the incoming tanker to the analysis of the final product. Just by putting for example seeds into our Seed Analyzer one can have the oil and moisture content within 30 seconds without milling or grinding.

Within 15 minutes one can also have a comprehensive analysis with our Profiling to see if the juice or wine is what it is supposed to be - this can help if the wine or juice on the tanker should be accepted or declined.

One gets a lot of parameters that are compared to the official European AIJN values. Further the country of origin will be determined which can tell a lot of the quality of the product. This is not enough. One gets also an answer about the fruit content in the juice or the rancidity value of the wine.

The Profiling is also helpful during the production process as one gets a fingerprint of each sample. With this fingerprint the producer can easily see if the product is according to his/her recipe or if there are any deviations. It can be also helpful to create new products.

Authenticity

Table of content

With our FoodScreener Profiling we are able to deliver a lot of authenticity parameters to you within one single measurement of about 15 minutes. The declaration of content and geographical origin is already mandatory for many products. If a wrongly labeled product makes it into a supermarket, it can destroy the consumer`s trust in a brand massively.

In juice for example our Profiling can differentiate direct juice from rediluted concentrate, validate the fruit content and decide if there is a cheaper fruit variety mixed into the juice, typical examples are Pear in Apple or Mandarin in Orange and vice versa. Sugar- and/or water addition can be traced in Juice, Wine and Honey.

In Wine the geographical origin can be further divided into regions with high value products within a country. Typical examples for Spain are the regions Rioja and Ribero del Duero. Further parameters that can be analyzed in the wine within one fully automated measurement are e.g. vintage year and grape variety. Within the same measurement we also offer targeted screening resulting in the quantification of a multitude of relevant food ingredients.

The following compounds listed in an excerpt are identified and quantified under full automation with our Profiling. They are also compared to our comprehensive database of authentic juices to see if there are any deviations in concentration to a normal model of juices or wines of the same country. Parameters rated by official values are compared to those and flagged with traffic lights.
